The top of Matej´s season was all about the best time trialists. Trying to repeat his unique 17. place in Varese 2008 this year he finished at 38. place losing 5:34 min to the German winner Tony Martin.

Duo of Matej and Pavel Polievka did the fantastic job in Normand, France. The duo time trial event is favourite among well-known professionals.

The trio of cyclists secured spectacular finsh in the Polish capital. The perfect third place of Matej in Warsawa lets him jump from 289. place onto 204. place in UCI European ranking.

Matej solos to win 1st stage 12 sec ahead of bunch! After losing little of time in prologue he jumps to 2nd place in general classification.
Finishing 14th and 21st in next stages he fell into 4th place in GC.
In the last stage Matej repeated 21st place finishing in the bunch with leaders keeping 4th position in GC.

Crash of the peloton in the first kilometres effected the race as well as a rainy weather. A leading group defended their breakaway till finish. Matej finished in the peloton at 25th place.

SMS: I escaped 15 km to go with Kvasina from a strong 9-men breakaway. We couldn´t speculate a lot because of our little gap. Even this morning I chatted with Kvasina before start cause we´ve got known in Crono des Nations in Herbiers.

The third edition of Les Challenges Phospatiers was definitely different race. Indeed, Matej finished at the same place like the day before but the riders´ bunch was divided into many groups.

The second edition of Les Challenges Phospatiers was very similar to that first one. Matej, finished in the first group of 11 cyclists one minute behind 3 breakaway riders. Less than 30 riders have finished.

8th stage - Matej second in Azilal
On Friday Matej repeated stage enplacement of his team collegue Martin Mahďar. He was outsprinted by a home rider in two-men sprint, who wore the maillot jaune in the finish. Firstly, there were 5 men in the breakaway in Moroccan hills.
